Reedsburg Youth Groups Raised in excess of
$4500 for Flood Victims
“FIND OUT WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE”
The fundraiser was held on Sunday, August 10th, in the Jaycee and
Lions building at Nishan Park. All of the people involved in the fundraiser
found it to be a great experience. While the final totals will not be known
until this weekend, we would like to say "Thank you" to everyone that attended
and helped us raise in excess of $4,500 for the Flood Relief Fund at Reedsburg
Bank.
Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who made contributions to
make the Silent Auction and Raffle very successful. Also, we are extremely
grateful to "Rock Around the Clock DJ Service" and the band "Dick Leo and the
Trio" for donating their time to provide music for our event. We want to
acknowledge that dedication shown by the Reedsburg Area High School band for
opening our event after they marched in the parade at LaValle. Words cannot
express the pride and gratitude to the parents and youth for the hard work they
put in on Sunday to show the compassion for their friends and neighbors who
suffered from the floods this year.
